Event overview:

When we’re busy, we often put ourselves on the back burner, telling ourselves that there’s not enough time and that ‘I’ can wait until tomorrow, leading to potential long-term problems if we delay addressing them for too long.

This can feel exhausting and relentless, but there are things we can do to help ourselves: increasing our self-awareness of the areas of our lives that create positive emotions and energy.

Description:

It doesn’t have to be like this. By developing your mental fitness and recognizing the resources at your disposal to facilitate rest and prioritize self-care, you can learn how to cope in the present and use this information to improve your daily work and life.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn some tools and techniques that will enable you to tap into all your resources to gain greater focus on what you need to be more mentally fit.
  • Acknowledge how your emotions and energy levels affect your ability to maintain control effectively over time.
  • Challenge your thinking and the stories you tell yourself that you’re “too busy” which prevent you prioritising your self-care.
